Newborn sessions hold a special place in my heart. As a San Francisco Bay Area photographer—and a mom of two—I know how quickly these early days go by. I love being able to document this time for families while getting in a little baby time myself.

This family recently invited me into their home to photograph their baby boy, just as he turned four months old. They wanted to capture this stage while he was still so little. He was calm, alert, and incredibly sweet—watching me with those bright eyes and giving me plenty of opportunities to photograph the little details and expressions that show his budding personality.

His parents were warm, loving, and completely tuned in to their baby’s needs. Their connection was easy to see and made the session feel relaxed and natural. It’s these kinds of moments that remind me why I love what I do—being invited into a family’s space to witness and document the love they share.
