This summer, several families I know are relocating outside the San Francisco Bay Area. When this wonderful family asked me to capture their Bernal Hill family photos and home moments before their big move, I was thrilled. Bernal Hill, one of their favorite spots in San Francisco, offered a perfect backdrop.

We began by hiking to the top of the hill, enjoying the breathtaking views. The family had fun on a tree swing and flew a kite in the typical brisk San Francisco breeze. Their son, with his own camera, became the photographer for a while, capturing his parents in action.

Back at home, the family engaged in more activities. They read books, nurtured their prized blueberry plant, played games, and drew with sidewalk chalk. Grandma joined later, allowing us to capture special extended family photos.

This Bernal Hill family photos session was filled with joy and created lasting memories as they prepared for their new adventure.
