Baby Makes Five: Baker Beach Maternity Session | San Francisco Family Photographer

Maybe this is your last pregnancy. Maybe you never documented your other pregnancies and you really want photos to commemorate this special time. Maybe you want to treasure your last memories as a family of 3 or 4 before your next little one arrives on the scene and changes your well established family dynamics. Whatever the reason, documenting your pregnancy with your child or children during a family maternity session is a wonderful way to hold onto these special memories. Whether at a beach, the woods, or just at home, any place that feels right for your family is the perfect location.

I worked with this family to document memories in their home in San Francisco before they moved to Marin, but San Francisco still held many special memories, so they decided Baker Beach would be a special place to come together for their family maternity session. We met in the early evening around golden hour to capture the beautiful light — it was a perfect San Francisco evening! We explored, we played games, and splashed in the cold water! We not only documented this special time, but made new memories in the city where they first became a family. Now, I’m very excited to work with this family again for a Fresh 48 and meet their precious, newest addition!
